Design and implementation of a wireless vibration monitoring system using ESP32 and mesh networking

Course: Electronic Project I & II

Design and implementation of a wireless vibration monitoring system based on ESP32 nodes for detecting vibration patterns and providing local visual alerts. Each node incorporated LED indicators to display warning information, including directional alerts, as well as high-intensity white LEDs that allowed the device to operate as a lighting unit. The nodes communicated through a mesh network, allowing vibration information and system status to be transmitted between devices and collected on a central laptop for monitoring. The project involved 3D mechanical design, PCB design, internal electronic integration, prototype assembly, and experimental testing. I was responsible for the 3D design, PCB design, and integration of the internal components. I also performed prototype testing and worked with my team to optimize the embedded software and communication network.
